To bring more convenience and comfort to customers, Singapore Airlines (SIA) has launched the world’s longest commercial flights, with non-stop services between Singapore and New York using the new Airbus A350-900ULR.
This 18 hours new route will operate daily, configured in a two-class layout, with 67 Business Class seats and 94 Premium Economy Class seats. The aircraft offers customers a more comfortable travelling experience with features such as higher ceilings, larger windows, an extra wide body and lighting designed to reduce jetlag.
Customers of this world’s longest flight will be treated with a comfortable and relaxing travel experience with special Wellness Cuisine curated by chefs and nutritionist from Canyon Ranch, a leader in healthy living and wellness, in addition to SIA’s own meal selections and creations by its International Culinary Panel of chefs.
Besides, customers will also have greater control over their in-flight entertainment (IFE) experience with myKrisWorld. KrisFlyer members can even access 200 additional hours of in-flight entertainment content. Moreover, customers can also experience high-speed in-flight WIFI service for work and entertainment.
The new A350-900ULR aircraft will also be used for new non-stop flights between Singapore and Los Angeles, which launched on 2 November 2018, as well as to increase services on the existing Singapore-San Francisco route, bringing Singapore and the United States closer.
