Recently, Marina Bay has undergone a transformation of epic proportions and is now the de facto centre of Singapore for visitors. The list of attractions include Merlion, Marina Bay splendid night view, The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands, Gardens by the Bay, Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay etc.
Mandarin Oriental Singapore with its FAN-shaped atrium, becomes a modern and luxury landmark of Marina Bay. Located along Marina Bay and close to the heart of the Central Business District with easy access to Shopping Malls, it satisfies the needs of business and leisure travellers.
This is my second times stay-over at Mandarin Oriental Singapore, I am still captivated by the hotel’s high standard facilities, dining and services. This time, I have a 366-square feet Marina Bay View Room. With floor-to-ceiling windows, I was stunned by the magnificent views of Marina Bay and the city skyline, the splendour is beyond description.
The hotel has a selection of renowned restaurants and lounges. Known for its extensive buffet presentations, Melt café has a variety of international gourmet to tempt diners.
Nowadays, whenever i have a chance to stay at a luxury hotel, I will choose to stay in the hotel to enjoy the facility like the fitness ce
ntre and swimming pool. I especially enjoyed the time swimming and sun-bathing at the swimming pool located on the 5th floor. The pool area surrounded by lush tropical landscape, has been clearly raised to emphasis the spectacular views of Singpaore’s city skyline.
Time Rituals to pamper yourself
The Spa at Mandarin Oriental Singapore has been awarded the “Forbes Five Star” status for seven consecutive years (2012 to 2018). The spa in the hotel remains a popular choice and pre-booking online is recommended to enjoy a head to toe, relax and revive spa treatment.
Its signature treatment is the Digital Wellness Escape package. This restorative treatment concentrating on the head, eyes, neck, shoulders, hands and feet, aims to ease stress and strains resulting from the frequent us of digital devices.
Fragrant Pearl combines a vibrant fusion of traditional Asian ingredients, a delightful Orchid body scrub and Pearl body wrap. The treatment is completed with a full body infusion massage with mixture of Swedish and Shiatsu style massage to give a general sense of balance and wellbeing.
On the other hand, Mandarin Oriental’s bespoke “Time Rituals” encourage its guests to book time rather than specific treatments, so that services can be tailor-made to meet individual needs. Each “Time Ritual” begins with a foot ritual and is designed to restore a natural state of equilibrium.
