Starting from September 2018, Dream Cruises is collaborate with celebrity chef Mark Best to launch the first “Market to Table” cruise voyage of its kind aboard Genting Dream, where guests will have an immersive culinary experience with Chef Best throughout the journey – from market shopping with Chef Best and learning to create Southeast Asian delicacies with his signature cooking style.
In conjunction with the launching of the new menu, during 12-14 September 2018 exclusive voyage, Chef Mark Best was not only joining the passengers to dine at Port Klang Coconut Flower Seafood Restaurant, he is also having complimentary cooking demonstration of “rendang lobster” and enrichment talks to the passengers.
Chef Best’s first signature restaurant at sea, ‘Bistro’ by Mark Best at Genting Dream will now feature two innovation menus comprised of seafood and choice cuts of steaks, all prepared to perfection and flavoured with Chef Best’s inventive culinary style.
Among the signature dishes, Slow Braised Ox Cheek & Mashed Potatoes is a hero dish that stands true to Chef Best’s philosophy on luxury food. It is not about the expense of the ingredients; rather, luxury is about cooking everyday ingredient with care, knowledge and integrity.
