As the first design hotel brand under Silks Hotel Group, Just Sleep Taipei Ximending, located at the intersection of Zhonghua Road and Hankou Street and just a 5-minute walk from the MRT station, was not only the brand’s inaugural property but also a pioneer in the development of the Ximending commercial district a decade ago. Following a renovation 10 years after its initial opening, Just Sleep aims to further connect with the life experiences of Ximending, blending more local elements to create a “Neighborhood Boutique” hotel where guests can immerse themselves in the vibrant daily life of the area.
The design of Just Sleep Taipei Ximending integrates various “neighbourhood” elements, such as graffiti, neon lights, and movie streets, creating a highly attractive and dynamic design space. In the spacious public areas, there are “Instagram-friendly” spots perfect for social media posts and photos.
The public spaces are thoughtfully utilized and organized into themed relaxation areas on each floor. On the fifth floor, the kaleidoscope wall near the elevators uses multiple reflections to create playful imagery, bringing joy and surprises to guests. This floor also houses the check-in counter and a newly added lounge that seamlessly combines spaces for socialising, meetings, and dining. The area features hand-drawn Ximending aerial maps and graffiti walls, complemented by sofas, bar tables, work desks, and hanging chairs to create a comfortable and stylish atmosphere. From floors six to nine, the “Instagrammable” vibe continues with facilities such as a gym, blue mirrored kaleidoscopes, and a family-friendly reading and play area, enriching the interactive experience between guests and the hotel.
The hotel is now offering the ‘Explore Taipei’ package, available until December 31, 2025. Guests who book this package will receive a 24-hour MRT pass, providing convenient transportation options and encouraging travellers to embrace sustainable tourism by exploring Taipei via public transit.
