春兰割包 Chun Lan Gua Bao

Chun Lan Gua Bao

Gua Bao is a traditional local delicacy in Taiwan, and it’s a must-try for many people visiting the island. Chun Lan Gua Bao, a favourite among the people of Kaohsiung, is known for being the largest in the city, bigger than an adult’s fist. There are four filling options, both meat and vegetarian, and the signature combo is a popular choice. Holding one in your hand, it’s packed with so much that it overflows! The half-fat, half-lean braised pork is plentiful, along with pickled mustard greens, peanut sugar powder, and coriander. When you take a bite, the taste is rich, and the handmade bun is soft yet fluffy, making it absolutely worth trying.
