How should we define the Regent Taipei? As Taipei’s most iconic five-star luxury hotel, it has been the preferred choice for many international celebrities for decades. The Hong Kong-based hotel design specialists, Chhada Siembieda and Associates, were commissioned to develop the concept for the design of Regent Taipei. They used a formula which placed traditional forms in an ultra-modern architectural setting. The emphasis in the public area of the hotel is on pure form, fine finishes and a sophisticated design. By contrast, the design of guestrooms reflects that of a finely furnished home.
Regent Taipei features 538 deluxe guestrooms, including 60 suites, all of which are well-lit and characterised by understated elegance. The modern yet classic design, coupled with large floor-to-ceiling windows, creates a charming retreat with panoramic views of the lush urban landscape. All rooms are equipped with temperature-sensing and pressure-relieving Wellspring mattress, as well as a variety of pillow options. The spacious marble deep-soaking tubs, separate shower stalls, and luxurious bath amenities ensure that guests can fully relax and unwind.
Since last year, Regent Taipei has joined the prestigious EarthCheck Certified status, pioneering sustainability in Taiwan’s luxury hotel sector. As the world’s foremost scientific benchmarking, certification, and advisory group, EarthCheck’s endorsement underscores Regent Taipei’s commitment to sustainability.
