Poltrona Frau continues its retail expansion in Southeast Asia with the opening of its first monobrand store in Kuala Lumpur, in partnership with the dealer Stanzo Italia.Throughout 2025, Poltrona Frau will open a series of key retail stores within the Asia-Pacific region, including India (Surat, Ahmedabad, Kolkata, and Mumbai), Vietnam (Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi), and Australia (Sydney). These openings will reinforce the brand's presence and the growth it has experienced in recent years.
The new space spans two levels, covers a total area of 500 square meters, and features soaring double-height spaces, along with key design features from the retail concept designed by the multidisciplinary creative studio AMDL CIRCLE, under the direction of Italian architect Michele De Lucchi.
These elements include a metal Exhibition Wall displaying exquisite objects from the Beautilities Collection (home complements & accessories), a passage arch with a metal finish, and metal and glass separating elements—all integral components of this concept, which was launched in 2023 with the opening of the Shanghai flagship store.
The store also features a Material Library, designed like an haute couture atelier. Materials are neatly organized on sleek black metal shelves, inviting hands-on exploration, tactile experiences, and experimentation with creative combinations.
Other essential design elements of the new store include two types of flooring combinations—ceramic and wood—while the walls feature decorative geometric elements in color tones chosen by De Lucchi, including Sage Green, Steel Blue, and Rust. These features enrich the visual experience and reinforce the store's refined and contemporary aesthetic.
Clients have the opportunity to discover the world of Poltrona Frau and admire a curated selection of products, including iconic armchairs such as Archibald, 1919, SanLuca, and Dezza, as well as the Get Back and Let It Be sofas. The most recent launches will also be featured, along with elements from the Duo Collection, co-created by Poltrona Frau and Ceccotti Collezioni and designed by Roberto Lazzeroni, expressing their synergy through a shared design vision.
In addition to Poltrona Frau’s collection, the store will also display exclusive and unique products from Ceccotti Collezioni, marking the first time this iconic brand is showcased in Malaysia. Ceccotti Collezioni is a unique company based in Cascina, Tuscany, recognized worldwide for its craftsmanship and expertise in woodworking. It was acquired by Poltrona Frau in 2018 with the aim of complementing the artisanal leather with solid woodwork.
