Nestled in the tranquil streets of Taipei’s East District, Kimpton Da An Hotel is just a block away from shopping malls and the MRT station. Its unique location offers a serene escape despite being close to bustling crowds. A variety of charming and poetic cafes, unique boutiques and artistic galleries are scattered around the hotel.
Continuing the brand ethos of “Design Leadership,” Kimpton Da An Hotel, with its 129 comfortable rooms and suites, has been designed by the internationally acclaimed Neri & Hu Design and Research Office. According to them: “The excitement of a city lies in its streets and alleys. When a city is filled with our memories, it becomes truly alive. The hotel design is inspired by Taipei’s street scenes and the bricks and tiles of its various alleys, blending Western rationality with Eastern elements to create a unique, minimalist tranquillity within the hotel while maintaining a comfortable atmosphere.” The hotel is designed as a tranquil sanctuary in the city, reflecting the designers’ distinctive Eastern impressionistic perspective throughout the space.
Kimpton strives to deliver “unexpectedly thoughtful” service, avoiding standardized SOP models. Every staff member is thoroughly trained to care for guests from a personalized perspective. For instance, if it rains, an umbrella will be placed outside your room door; if there’s a sudden temperature drop, a warm pack will be provided.
