Don’t miss out Kiritanpo, Akita’s signature dish made with cooked rice and grilled over charcoal fire. Part spiritual, part terrifying, the Namahage Sedo Festival is a unique folk festival celebrated in Akita every February.
MIYAGI
Set sail to Kesennuma, a city with a large fishing port, for a seafood feast! Turn yourself into a samurai with a Shiroishi Castle samurai armor wearing experience.
