Located at one of the refurbished double-storey heritage buildings at Lebuh Melayu, George Town, Bao Teck Tea House is operated by the famous Ming Xiang Tai pastry house.  Using the finest ingredients with Anglo-Chinese influenced retro interior design, this is an elegant place to enjoy dim sum and tea.

From a tea corner, mini mystery garden to antique furniture and all the dim sum and tea series, all are the brainchild from the boss, Au Meng Kit. “This is more than a dim sum place, this is the place that I share what I love in my life and the places to remember my dad. I prefer to call it lifestyle conceptual place, ”Au shared.

Besides the signature dim sum such as Bao Teck siu mai, Bao Teck prawn dumpling, signature egg tart, handmade fish balls, the place also offers selection of English and Chinese tea.

As Au is the tea lovers’inheritance from the family, with this reason, he introduces three generations of Liu Bao Tea in the menu. In addition, the famous Jin Jun Mei black tea, Shou Mei white tea, Yan Yun oolong tea are also added into the selection.
