Built in the late 19th century, Seven Terraces Hotel was a contiguous row of Anglo-Chinese terrace houses located in the heart and core of the UNESCO World Heritage Site. Today, the terrace houses have been creatively transformed into a state-of-the-art boutique hotel.

Step into the hotel, the open courtyards and air wells in the centre reminisces guests with the bygone eras. The hotel’s ground floor is a public area where the reception, swimming pool, lounge and Kebaya Dining Room are located.

The first floor has 18 spacious suites from 80 to 120 square meters. Complementing the Anglo-Chinese exterior, the interior is one that harks back to the romance and splendour of the Peranakan Chinese era with owner Christopher Ong’s personal collection of priceless antiques.

New Twists of Elevation

Upon entering the elegant restaurant, guests will see the pre-dinner drinks bar on the left and a piano in the middle. Piano live performances are held every Friday and Saturday from 8 to 10pm, and the restaurant is open to public.

Offering classic Indo and Straits Chinese Nyonya dishes, Kebaya Dining Room uses traditional Malaysian flavour profiles, Vietnamese lightness, Thai spiciness, and traditional French cooking styles to deliver surprising new twists.
